The Edwardsburg Sports Complex is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, started in 2005 to be the place where kids, community, and athletics come together. 



Our Mission

The mission of the Edwardsburg Sports Complex is to build, operate, and maintain a regional sports and recreation facility that enriches the quality of life for families and provides future generations of athletes with a place to grow and play in an environment that cultivates community, sportsmanship, leadership, health, and wellness.

Phases of Development

We've broken down growth at the complex into three fluid phases. The phases and their elements are completely fluid, with their timelines and prioritizing based on demand, funding, and the scheduling and availability of in-kind gifts. 

Phase one

Anticipated to be completed by the end of 2017, Phase One of construction would allow the complex to be fully operational and revenue-generating.

  • Installation of utilities: drilling of wells, hook-up to Ontwa Township sewer, hook-up of high-voltage electric

  • Parking lots 1, 2, 3, & 4

  • Maintenance building

  • Cross-country course & walking trail

  • 8 multi-use, irrigated turf fields

  • Pavilion A: restrooms, picnic area

  • Play space at Pavilion A

  • Open-air picnic pavilion, done in partnership with the Edwardsburg Lions Club

  • Pavilion B: restrooms, concessions, picnic area, and storage

  • Front fence & gate

  • Equipment necessary to support our 8 fields


The second phase of development expands our ability to host large-scale tournaments and events and increases our impact in the community with amenities intended for individuals of all ages. 

  • Completion of front fence

  • Outdoor basketball

  • Sand volleyball

  • Indoor multi-use space

  • Additional fields as needed

  • Play space at Pavilion B

  • Pavilion C: restrooms, concessions, picnic area, and storage

  • Lighting of existing fields

  • Donor wall

  • Outdoor fitness area

This phase includes the final details that make the complex a world-class sports and recreation facility.

  • Lighting of parking lots and driveway

  • Cafe

  • Memorial Park

  • 8 baseball and softball diamonds

  • Splash pad & playground

  • Paving of parking lots
