Girls' Middle School Club Soccer Info - Spring 2019
An Edwardsburg Middle School Girls' Soccer team will be available this spring with a club format, administrated by the Edwardsburg Sports Complex. This team is not sponsored by Edwardsburg Athletics, but will be supported by the high school coaching staff. We will be fielding two teams in a Varsity and Junior Varsity format, and 6th, 7th, and 8th graders of all skill levels are encouraged to try out. Each athlete must have a tryout form (found below) on file to participate in any capacity. A physical is not required, but we encourage you to visit with your family physician if this is your child's first time participating in competitive sports.
The team will compete as part of the Southwest Michigan Middle School Soccer League. Practices will be held at the Edwardsburg Middle School and home games will be held at the Edwardsburg Sports Complex. Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from games, but coaches will facilitate carpool groups once teams are formed.
Cost is $205 per player. Because middle school soccer is not sponsored by the school, the additional cost covers jerseys, coaching staff, field use, league fees, and referees. Once invited by the coaching staff to commit to the team, families must sign the Player/Parent Guidelines and pay the player fee, due before practice begins. Checks can be made out to "Edwardsburg Sports Complex," or the fee can be paid online via the button below.
Team and individual photos will be taken on TBA, at the end of practice.
